This book billed as another testament of Jesus Christ.  Written by Joseph Smith widely regarded as the first prophet of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

This book tells the story of a Jewish family that flees the region of Jerusalem and come to the new world to build a new society ideally following the teachings of God. Once in the new world they split and become 2 different nations the Laminites and the Nephites. The book details the struggles and trial of this family as they cross a harsh wilderness, build a boat and sailed into unknown waters.

The book covers a period of approximately 1,000 years from about 600 BC to 421 AD. Through out the book the 2 nations have several wars and go through a constant cycle of wickedness and righteousness. Prophets preach the word of God. At times the prophets are accepted by some and rejected by some. There trials and struggles are detailed and the rise and fall of these 2 nations makes for some compelling reading. The eventual destruction of one of these nations and the story of the last man of that nation is a compelling read for anyone.

This book is filled with violence and bloody war. Intrigue, politics and natural disasters. The characters that are in this book are real and compelling. The story’s and events portrayed in this book make it a remarkable book with lessons for all. The story’s told in this book rival anything written by the most successful writers in science fiction, fantasy or any other genre of literature. Heart warming tales fill this book from 1 Nephi to Moroni.

Reading this book will change your life for the better. It will inspire you to be a better person and uplift your spirits and help you grow to be a better person.

This book teaches some very good lessons about life, the universe and everything to take from Douglas Adams. There are so many compelling lessons we can learn from the book of Mormon that it is a must read for everyone.
